TL;DR: Funnelforms in 30 seconds
- 🧲 Interactive, multi-step request forms (funnel forms) that adapt dynamically to user input – for more & better leads.
- 🔀 Conditional logic, drag & drop, appointment booking, file upload, price calculator; integrations with HubSpot, Pipedrive, ActiveCampaign, Mailchimp & more (+ Zapier).
- 💸 Subscription from $22/month (Basic, annual) up to $317 (Enterprise); 14-day free trial (no credit card).
- 🇩🇪 Originally from Germany, German-speaking support; usable as a WordPress plugin or a browser-based cloud app (v4).
Many companies still rely on outdated, static forms that barely create a good customer experience. Yet it has never been easier to build a personalized, targeted funnel. With software like Funnelforms you can create an interactive request form in WordPress (or in the cloud) in minutes – one that reacts dynamically to your users’ input and generates significantly more high-quality leads with no extra effort.
In this article we show you how to turn your forms into a real funnel machine, what Funnelforms can do in 2026, and what it costs.
Our rating: 3.9 / 5
Popular with its users: an intuitive form-funnel builder from Germany with strong support – Trustpilot ~4.8★ across nearly 200 reviews. The heavy deduction: a critical vulnerability documented in 2026 without a documented vendor patch, plus removal from the WordPress.org directory – which is why we currently do not recommend it (see the security notice below).
| Ease of use & funnel logic | ★★★★½ 4.6 |
| Support | ★★★★½ 4.7 |
| Conversion impact & integrations | ★★★★½ 4.5 |
| Value for money | ★★★½☆ 3.9 |
| Security & governance | ★★☆☆☆ 2.0 |

⚠️ Security notice (as of August 9, 2026): A critical vulnerability is documented for Funnelforms Pro up to and including version 3.8.1 (CVE-2026-39440, CVSS 9.9 – remote code execution). No official vendor patch was documented at the time of our last check. In addition, the free plugin “Funnelforms Free” was removed from the WordPress.org directory on Feb 25, 2026 (“Guideline Violation”). Before installing or continuing to use it, verify the current version and patch status directly with the vendor.
Our takeaway: Due to the unresolved security situation and the vendor’s lack of communication about it, we currently no longer recommend Funnelforms. We have removed our affiliate links.
What is Funnelforms?
Classic web forms are usually static: it doesn’t matter what a user clicked before – the next questions stay the same. Funnelforms is the opposite: an interactive, multi-step request form that branches dynamically based on each answer. If someone selects “no car”, the form won’t ask about car insurance later on.
On top of that you get choice blocks, free-text fields, sliders and more, so you ask exactly the relevant questions – without wasting your users’ time. Both sides benefit; Funnelforms itself cites significantly higher conversion rates. The tool was originally founded in Germany (2015, formerly known as “Anfrageformular”); today it is run internationally, with German-speaking support still available.
What is a sales funnel?
A funnel visualizes your customers’ decision process: from initial attention through interest and first contact to the close. After each step, some drop off – the funnel narrows. A good interactive form maps these steps and helps you guide more prospects all the way to an inquiry.

Funnelforms’ most important features
The goal is always to guide as many users as possible cleanly to an inquiry. To do that, Funnelforms offers, among other things:
- Conditional logic (branching): follow-up questions adapt live to previous answers – the heart of any real funnel.
- Drag-&-drop builder: assemble forms with no code, 100% responsive.
- Single/multiple choice, free text, sliders, dropdowns: all common field types, including images/icons as answers.
- Appointment booking & file upload: calendar sync, address input and uploads right inside the form.
- Price calculator: instantly shows prospects an individual ballpark price.
- Integrations: directly with HubSpot, Pipedrive, ActiveCampaign, KlickTipp, GetResponse, Mailchimp & more – plus thousands more via Zapier.
- New (cloud/version 4): SMS/WhatsApp notifications and an “AI Leadcaller” (AI-assisted lead follow-up) – included depending on the plan.
Who is Funnelforms a no-brainer for?
This is YOUR tool if…
- … you offer consultation-heavy products/services and want to pre-qualify prospects (e.g. agency, coaching, trades, B2B).
- … you run on WordPress and want full data control – or prefer a cloud solution without your own site.
- … static contact forms bring you too few and too poor leads.
Give it a miss if…
- … a simple contact form is all you need – then Funnelforms is overkill.
- … you’re on a very tight budget: it’s an ongoing subscription, not a one-time purchase.
How much does Funnelforms cost?
Funnelforms is a subscription (monthly or – about 20% cheaper – annual). The four tiers scale by websites, leads/month, integrations and extras like SMS/WhatsApp and A/B testing:
| Plan | Price / month* | Key limits |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | $22 | 1 website, 100 leads/mo, 5 forms, 3 integrations |
| Advanced | $46 | 5 websites, 500 leads/mo, unlimited forms, 10 integrations, SMS/WhatsApp |
| Pro | $117 | 10 websites, 1,000 leads/mo, A/B testing, 250 AI Leadcaller minutes |
| Enterprise | $317 | 50 websites, unlimited leads & integrations, white-label |
* Prices per month with annual billing; monthly billing is higher (approx. $27 / 57 / 147 / 397). The official pricing page is shown in US dollars. All plans come with a 14-day free trial (no credit card).
Pros and cons of Funnelforms
Pros
- Clear dashboard with lead statistics
- Fast to use thanks to drag & drop, no coding needed
- Strong CRM/email integrations (HubSpot, Pipedrive, KlickTipp & co.) + Zapier
- GDPR-compliant, German-speaking support
- Usable either as a WordPress plugin or a cloud app
Cons
- Ongoing subscription instead of a one-time purchase; higher tiers get noticeably pricier
- Overkill for simple contact forms
- Possible feature overlap with an existing CRM
What are the alternatives?
The closest comparisons are Heyflow and Perspective (both work without WordPress too, but can be pricier depending on limits) as well as classic funnel-form plugins. For purely static contact forms, tools like Contact Form 7 or WPForms are often enough – but they don’t offer real, branching funnel logic.
Conclusion – a good tool, but currently not recommended
Functionally, Funnelforms remains a good tool: interactive, branching forms extract measurably more and better leads from the same traffic than static contact forms, and the builder with its CRM integrations convinced us in testing.
Nevertheless, we currently do not recommend it. The reason is not the functionality but the security situation: a critical vulnerability is documented for Funnelforms Pro up to version 3.8.1 (CVE-2026-39440, CVSS 9.9), no official patch was documented at our last check, the free plugin was removed from the WordPress.org directory – and so far there has been no transparent communication from the vendor about any of this. Until that changes, we advise against new installations. Existing users should verify their version and harden access to the WordPress backend. As soon as an official patch and a clear statement are available, we will update this review.
